Church Relationship Commitment Options

Partnering Church

For a period of three years, a Partnering Church commits to the following:
– Designate a church liaison that will advocate and serve as the primary point of contact for the Mission
– Pray for the Mission ministry
– Encourage Church Congregants to volunteer with the Mission ministry according to their gifts and abilities
– Promote and participate in ongoing collection efforts for Matilde Davila Emergency Pantry program
– Provide an opportunity for Mission to address Church Congregation from the pulpit at least once during the three-year commitment period
– Provide monthly financial support (dollar amount or percentage of missions or benevolence budget)
– Utilize Mission-provided resources to update Congregation on ministry activities and opportunities for support and engagement
– Develop a process, if not already in place, to welcome, disciple, and foster relationships with individuals and families referred by the Mission

Supporting Church

A Supporting Church commits to the following:
– Designate a church liaison that will serve as the primary point of contact for the Mission
– Pray for the Mission ministry since we know that
– Promote and participate in collection efforts for Matilde Davila Emergency Pantry Pantry
– Provide financial support to the Mission through regular monthly support or through the collection of a love offering at least once per year
– Utilize Mission-provided resources to provide updates to congregants on ministry impact and to encourage volunteerism and ministry support
