Come to the city of Cleveland!
Meet her people,
share her dreams,
learn of her struggles,
and rebuild her homes and her heart!
 
                                 
 
 
 
We invite all youth, women's and men's groups to consider spending a day, a weekend or a week in the great city of Cleveland, Ohio for the Glory of God.
 
The Nehemiah Mission of Cleveland will house you, feed you and have you work in homes and churches that need your help. You design your own worship and free-time activities, but we can have a pastor available for special devotions if you so desire.
 
Most mission teams will be building and repairing porches & ramps, painting houses, cleaning and painting classrooms, doing yard work, working in food pantries and soup kitchens and helping with Vacation Bible Schools.
 
What your team will be doing will be dependent on your skills and interests. Whatever you want to accomplish in the city, we can find a place for you to do it.
 
 
  • All youth must be at least 12 years of age and/or have completed the 6th grade.
  • For every 5 middle school youth there must be 2 adults. For every 8 high school youth there must be 2 adults.
  • If groups include both males and females there must be adults of both genders.
  • Medical health forms and consent forms must be completed and filed with the mission upon your arrival. ( Forms are available in our group information pack. )
 
 
The cost to stay at The Nehemiah Mission is $25.00 per person per night in 2010. For 2011 the cost will be $30.00 per person per night.   This cost includes lodging, meals & snacks. As you plan your mission trip, please consider building a contribution into the cost. Some projects furnish supplies however many are unable to do so. Your voluntary gift helps us provide supplies and materials for the work you will do and for the work of future mission teams.  Day groups not requiring overnight accomodations and/or meals are asked to provide a $10 per participant contribution toward supplies and materials related to your work project.
