Take Your Talents to Ganta, Liberia

Join us for our second Nehemiah Mission sponsored mission trip to Ganta, Liberia, West Africa in January of 2018.

Departing Cleveland, Ohio on January 20, Returning February 5.

Learn about the history of Liberia; her history, her people. Witness and participate in the work of the Ganta United Methodist Mission Station ( GUMMS). The mission station consists of a school, church, hospital, vocational school and agricultural program.

THERE WILL BE AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING HELD AT THE NEHEMIAH MISSION ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 5 AT 10:0AM FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING TRAVELING WITH THIS TEAM. 

While in Ganta the team will be installing a computer lab at the school and hospital and training the teachers and staff on use. We’ll be helping to restore the UMVIM Guest House. Medical personnel will have opportunities to teach and assist at the hospital.

We are looking for teachers, medical personnel, I.T. professionals,people who have general skills in home repair, and anyone with a heart for mission desiring to build relationships with the wonderful people of Liberia.

Trip Cost will be approximately $3500.00 ( housing, ground transportation, food & airfare )

NOTE:  Attendance and completion of UMVIM Leader Training is required in order to join this team. This class will be held at The Nehemiah Mission on Sat. November 4, 2017.
